Signing Up

Follow these steps to create an account on Github.

1. Go to GitHub​

Click this link to open GitHub.com

2. Sign Up for an Account​

  1. On the top-right corner, click Sign up.

  2. Enter your:

    • Email address (use your tcd email if you have one)
    • Username (make sure it’s something professional)
    • Password

  3. Verify your account (you may need to solve a puzzle or confirm via email).

  4. Choose a free plan when prompted.

3. Confirm Your Email​

  • GitHub will send you a confirmation email.
  • Click the link in your inbox to verify your email address.

Finished​
