Highlights

  • More recordings happening, in home studio and at Acadamh, and going through Transtool recordings uploaded.
  • Joeys LLM is making great progress at translating English to Irish.
  • Minister of Gealtacht expected to come sometime in September.

Amanda

  • working with Aifric and Muireann on contacting publishers, getting permission for corpus materials for MGNN, and cleaning up stories for it.
  • More recordings happening, in home studio and at Acadamh, and going through Transtool recordings uploaded.
  • Great moment with Dylan, a boy with phocomelia without arms, using An Scéalaí to dictate.

Joey

  • Showing outputs of the Irish LLM. Does a good job at translating from English to Irish.

Ciadhla

  • Looking through existing child data & Rob’s word on child synthesis, building test voice to learn the synthesis pipeline.

Oskar

  • Setting up Backoffice API infrastructure & cloud storage infrastructure. Fixing dictation system. Updating Infrastructure documentation.

Neasa

  • In talks with Max from Australia to join us in February/March.
  • Minister of Gealtacht coming sometime in September.
