Highlights

  • Planning for the Oireachtas.

Ailbhe

  • Talking to mother of boy who wants to use our recognition. Wants to try new recognition.
  • Hoping that Ronan will say something about the Mayo Irish.
  • Asked for speakers on the stage - Ronan, Joey, Andy.
  • Anna has redrawn website image - should be used on flyer.
  • An tuilleanach could be used. Liam says probably not.
  • Throw up corpus beag for older kids. Neasa says no.
  • Might keep recording equipment with Aifric in Donegal.
  • Question for Christoph - webreader will be featured. Need's introductory feature to explain how to integrate it with the webpage.

Neasa

  • Harald's father had a small stroke. He's ok, but Harald will not be over for the Oireachtas.
  • 100 recordings for the competition will be too many for young kids.

Andy

  • Suggested fine tuning recognition models in various contexts.
  • Recognition Docker image almost ready to go.

Ciadhla

  • Ring voice, got some voices to synthesise and not others.

Liam

  • Making Tutorial Video for Fotheidil.
  • Andy got small demo of ASR model working. Seems to work fast. Not convinced current model will be much better than the Kaldi model. Needs to train more.
  • Could reduce load of checking the new voices by automating and using the recognition.

Amanda

  • t-shirts ordered
  • Asked that all videos for the Oireachtas be sent to her to edit.
  • 6 video testimonies: Grace, Diarmuid, Ronana, Mary, Coimheán, Dylan.
  • Questions on MGnaNÓg - wants the rules for the competition pinned down. 100 recordings for one raffle ticket. Should push out deadline - maybe end of January. Need printing done soon for Oireachtas.
  • Ella and Saoirse finishing recordings soon. Will bring back recording equipment.

Christoph

  • Webreader documentation is all there. In Irish only but in English in code.
  • Doesn't understand the focus on the c-pen as there is nothing to show. Ailbhe says we should still show it.

Aifric

  • Working on Fotheidil, but it might not be the best tool, as all the files are individual. Liam suggested concatenating all the audio files.
  • An tuillineach is too difficult for kids.

Joey

  • Will speak at Oireachtas.

Finn

  • Didn't speak

John

  • Translations almsot set up to be input in Fotheidil.

Oskar

  • Asked to make Recognition backwards compatible.

Julie

  • Wants to know if there are any prompts for them to say. Irish prompts would be helpful

Simon
